Short shift kits

Got a mk2 golf with ibiza o2j cable change in does anyone recomend a short shift kit? or is there anyway of modifiying the original to have a bit shorter throw?

b&m do short shift kits they sayabout 25% reduction in throw....

Tryed one of them in a mk3 golf that we had in at work and wasnt impressed felt to notchy,may just have a look at modifiying the original.

There is also a copy of the b&m one off ebay for about 25 quid. But as you say it is notchy

Cant see how you can say it makes it notchy, mines fine.

TT shifter as well dont forget.
