should I get some day time running lights fitted ?

I've been thinking lately about whether or not I should get some day time running lights fitted to my car.
Has anyone on here who has already done it and where do you guys think the best place to mount them would be?

Turn your headlights on. That is all i do and does the job just fine and dandy.

i drive always with headlights after a twat nearly killed me, as at midday he said he couldn't see car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Presuming you already have headlights and sidelights I would say you don't need them. They would cost money and time, drain power, add weight, obscure air from getting through the grilles and in my humble opinion make you look a knob.

whats wrong with just using the lights that your car already has??? thats what i do although i have seen a leon with the led strip following the bottom of the headlight and it looked alright, not to my taste as i think its just wanting to be an audi wannabe.

Nowt wrong with having the on, they can be picked up cheap on ebay, and don't draw that much power.
As regard's to looking like a knob, that's down to personal taste's.

But day light running likes are going to be made compulsary on new cars, in the next few years.
