Should windscreen repair gel cause my chip to spread after set?

Hi guys someone from auto windscreens repaired my stone chip and filled it with that gel. once he had done it the chip was still visible, but he assured me it was fine. However since he has left, the crack seems to be longer in couple places, does that mean its not actually repaired? or is that where the gel has spread through. Please please help.

keep an eye on it and make measurements of it over a small period, call them to tell them that the job they did hasnt worked and get them to sort it.

obviously gavin from autoglass isnt very good at his job then!! but as above definitely get them back to fix it mate that shouldnt have happened if its been done right.
