what wheels does everyone have on their cars?
in a couple of months my tyres will need replacing and im just wondering if it would be better to get new alloys as i was going to stick 18's on anyway
might be better to do it when the tyres are up

RS6 replicas are a cheap and nice set of wheels, they look even better when the car is polished like mine is now. Im glad i bought them, fookin cheap too with toyos, i thought why spend £200-£300 on tyres when i can get a new set of alloys too :);)

when i told insurance about bigger alloys they said it didnt matter since the car came with alloys as standard, depends on the company i guess. just ask them as see what they say...

yeah all different.

I Sent an email to swift cover first asking abotu stuff. I can tint the rear windows, put different alloys on(up to £1000) and have as much ICE (up to £1000) as i like.

Basicly all they want to know is suspension and engine mods. Obviously!

They also said when i asked about cupra bumpers, that as long as they were seat parts they didnt mind but id only get a standards bumper back if i crashed.

I have a 54 plate 130 tdi in Black Magic.

Decided to get 17"RS6 alloys with Goodyear F1 tyres at the end of last year.

Wanted slightly bigger alloys and 225 tyres, but wasn't sure how 18" would affect the ride + the increased risk of damage (I have to visit quarries through work!). I know many are pleased with their 18" RS6 wheels, but for me the 17" wheel strikes a good balance. Still looks good, very slight difference in ride quality and no damage ........yet.:D

Sweet! We were told something very different so ended up changing insurers. We only wanted to fit new wheels and a cat-back exhaust and they effectively told us to piss off! :censored:

With Elephant now and they are OK... but will be heading to Greenlight as soon as she meets their criteria!
