Ive got the black strips going around the car (as per signature), one of them is damaged, is there any way they can be taken off and replaced with new colour coded ones?

You can't buy colour coded ones, they come primed and you have them sprayed. Or you can attempt it yourself :)

Thats fine, i could get some and get them spayed. Does anyone know the part numbers for the primed ones. Are they easy to take off?

front door strip right-1M0853516GB41-£17.81
front door strip left-1M0853515GB41-£17.81
rear door strip right-1M0853536GB41-£14.95

rear bumper trim left-1M6807425BB41-£19.83

You can either have them primed or black they should ask when you order.

they just peel off. use some dental floss to get behind them then they should just peel away.
rub down with your finger any remaining glue and stick new ones on.
they will have some small lugs that locate into holes on the door.

well worth colour coding them, i did it to mine looks much better.
aerosol and lacquer, job done.

You will need to watch it with the yellow i did the same thing got the paint from seat ...it didt match so i took the bolt cover of the front bumper and had it matched any good motor parts shop should do it, you will have the choice of cellulose or 2 pack the cellulose comes in spray cans and you can do it your self if you want to or get the 2 pack and find some one to spray it for you.

i have heard that the yellow can be abit of a pig to match.. mine was arctic grey so a little bit easier...
i have tried paint from seat but wasn't that impressed...especially the price £20/25.
euro colour...paint shop near me....better but they did **** up 1st can and has a funny spray pattern...about £12
best ive found so far is from my local motor shop(a1 motor spares) by hycote.
£3 a can, and happy with the lacquer too.£3

pretty sure they are smooth, been a while since i did them,
but make sure you order the right ones with your stealer.
i just asked for the smooth door strips and the parts bloke got them in for me..

looks so much better colour coded. had to do mine 1.8 se come in black and i never really liked them from the start.
