Well I think i now understand a bit better. For what ever reason when you post a link to a picture it just shows the IMG link, if you do a right hand click you get the menu below and then you can open and see the pics.

Paul me to, I have been having issues with getting pictures to show and just getting a IMG It also seems to depend on where you host the original one. Currently I am using my BBCode link and that seems to work.

Yes she runs 19s, not lowered yet but I am getting some new DDC with Coilover's so I may drop here a little, but not to much as the roads near me are agricultural so lots of high middles and low sides and i don't want to rip the spoiler/sump off

Im wondering wether I should lower mine, not sure if the FR is lowered much anyway, if 19s go on it I’m just wondering what it would look like on standard springs, will have to do some more forum searching for inspiration.

You’re running a cupra? (guessing at the lack of front fogs)

Would it aid in performance and or forum storage space if some sections were removed?

For example, looking in the spotted section, those threads don't get replied too, any point having them?

I would link directly to the full image - e.g. http://preview.ibb.co/m95x7Q/Screen_Shot_2017_08_19_at_20_58_39.png not a shortened path. The forum software will likely expect an image extension to display. Then it's super easy - click the picture icon - enter the path and voila.

I'm hoping with the cleanup and rearrangement spotted will see a resurgence. No images there usually anyway. We're ok for storage, just want to optimise the files that are stored by keeping the limit reasonable.

So what are the supported hosts for the forum to draw an image from? Google Drive?

The forum won't be the one that cares as long as the url is valid (to a .jpg , .png etc). It's the hosting site might not alow embedding.

Just tested a file from my Google photos and it worked fine.

Best way if you are using Chrome is to right click and select "view image in new tab" that will then give you the full path to use.

The old boy just made defence in another thread for someone to check his signature for a link to the kids he's done.

Pew all you have to do is go to you name on the top right of the black bar and click on your name
From the dropdown menu select Signature
Then update as required, but I think there is a limit to the size of pictures

Sorry I think I misunderstood your comment are you saying you can see them at all when you are logged in.

Just a thought is it worth having a STOLEN CAR section so people can put up if there motor is taken.

Seen a few recently and i guess as time goes on we will see more.

No big deal (in having a separate section) just an idea.

That's not a bad idea, I thought about people that have sold their car for trade in etc that are aware of a problem which later buyers could look at before purchase, like an issue with suspension or something...

I've seen a few people including me ask about a car I've spotted that I may buy which would be good to know if it had any previous issues as readers rides don't necessarily have reg plates on show...

The only downside of this is that people that have sold their car may not then be apart of the forum lol

Could be a silly idea lol

Cheers
