Smoothed Airbox Fitted.

Okie dokie, fitted my smoothed airbox and 100mm cold air feed this morning (forgot to do pics) when i had finished i gave it a few revs and it sounded like something was loose around by the air box im assuming this is the chater sound(as it sounds kind of chattery) that has been mentioned in previous posts... i havent got my green panel filter or forge DV fitted yet so im just making sure that the noise will goaway when these are fitted?

could be the dv is buggered, i would fit the forge one to see.

yeh, i just read about that another post.. never to worry im going to be ordering a forge DV and Green panel filter tomoz.

I did exactly the same smoothed airbox and 4" CAI, mine chattered when backing off, fitted a recirc dv and all better, green panel filter STILL on order 5 weeks later.

Cold air feed, wickes £4.99 4" 100m x 4m i used this and then taped it black to look standard, metal so its alittle louder aswell as using a rubber pipe, should be better with my green panel in tho.

Yeh i know i mentioned it in a post before and he sed he has them in stock £36 + postage but ive already given my deposit for mine from local tuning place and they wont refund it. So im STILL waiting its taking the p**s it really is.

Threaten them with CAB, due to the length of time since ordering, and I think they'll probably cough up.

Or ask to speak to a manager and explain that the length of time for delivary is beyond, reasonable expectations.

Yeh last time i was in they said that the had contacted their supplier of green panel filters and it would be 7-10 working days. So hopefully it should be in middle of this week. IF not im going to say look money back or CAB it is, thing that annoyed me was someone on here last week or so was selling one only bout 3-4months old £30 with postage i think so annoying.

it was your guide that i followed Black Turbo.... was a great help i found that the 4" was a very tight fit but wasnt to hard to fit.... i also taped the ali tubing looks alot better and standard!
