Snap, crackle and pop hmm

Since last sunday without touching or doing anything my stereo has started to crackle as i turn it above 25+. It seems to get louder the faster i go. In the evening it often doesnt do it as much and i can turn it up louder before it starts doing it. Its go no alternator whine so i dont think its a short in the wiring.

Now as its been so sunny and the atmosphere has been pretty humid im wondering if somehow ive got some static stuck in the system somehow. Could this be causing it.

mines usually pre set to come on at 25, cant hear it at 10!

heh if i put mine at more than 14 its distorted as fluc but then the MK3 stereo and speakers are a pile of poo

get some componants front and rear, notice the difference

Ive got front comps and uprated rear speakers, sorry forgot to mention its not the speakers distorting its something else as it used to be fine.

Cant hear anythign at 10.

I usually have it around 15 on the radio, and 20 if i want it a bit louder.
