Never thought i would see VAG paint and soft in the same thread

dont buy yellow!!!!

just changed from black cupra to yellow, think it looks stunning in yellow but 1500 miles and 4 sizeable chips in front bumper showing black make me sad

yes i had the same problems with the black one but just not a visible. thinking of a respray (is 1.5 months old too early?) and getting some of the 3m film does anyone have any experiance with it? i want to know if it is visible at all unless you get right up close?

Just got an 05 FR and it has quite a few stone chips on it only 32,000 miles too..

Any one used colour magic with the chipstick on their ibiza ???

welcome toch up pens are shocking! respray the bonnet and get a bonnet bra or look into clear film

My Zenith grey touch up pen has left a black blob on my bonnet - at least its covered up the bare metal that was going rusty though, i suppose! .

the touchup pen for the ovni yellow is really good, I have touched up chips on my mk3 and mk4 with it and they vanish

just over fill the chip with a blob of paint, let it dry for 2 days, flat it with t cut, job done and the chip vanishes

i spend loads! i recon 80% of my monthly wages goes on my motor but im young and sponging at home so i wanna go ALL outon this cupra while i can afford to

im getting front end sprayed again as i got a big nasty stone chip on my newly sprayed bonnet!

An he other 20% goes on uleing the beast i bt hahaha, i'm exactly the same i spend pretty much all my money on my car getting window's thinted liht smoked on wednesday.

/Back to topic i have loads of stonechips on the fron of my car and they come out black so you can imagine yellow car with black dots all over the ront of it i blame that on my driving style though

the seat black magic pen is a really good match, even keeps the pearly effect, and with it being black its easy to hide chips, gouges on the other hand are a b*****d

I just got Halfords to mix me up a pot of paint then bought a thin artists brush, filled in the hundreds of stone chips and now it looks great. a lot cheaper than a respray

all grey touchup paints seem to be crap! platinum grey on the beeza is a bad match, and zenith grey on the leon is poo too!

My Escort paint was better than my leons!!!!

and my Vectra before that! It is shockingly bad and how difficult is it to use a touch up pen!!!!

The Escort I had wasn't. Metallic Pepper Red, and the chassis rails rusted after two years. Only 13K miles! That's probably not being undersealed properly though.

Bonnet bra helps massively with preventing stone chips, I havent picked up any new ones since i started using it! I know some people dont like the look of them but they do help!

It also leaves one less place to clean dead flies from!

Does anyone know the paint code for an extreme blue ibiza?? My bumper is peppered in stone chips so much so im going to repray parts or even fully! I neeed that code! alternatively i could become apart of the bonnet bra crew!

You sure thats extreme blue(dark blue) n not imperial(sky blue)?

I am unsure which is which !! thought I had extreme blue(darker one)??

ul have a big problem getting holdof these bonnet bra's now as the bloke/friend that made themmade 10and then has been in a bike accident and lost his life but yeah the bra'sdefo helpand they look ace!
