Striped more out the car today got the carpet out it was soaked also removed the rest of the plastics and roof lining still have the rear door cards to remove keeping the fronts untill I find some carbon sheets , fitted a new gear Knob also going to top mount the gear shift box at some stage , test fitting the cage tomorrow
Moves the gear stick higher altho I will probably cut it down depended how high my seats are once there fitted also looks a lot better
Today I was meant to trail fit the cage but changed my mind as once it's In I'm not taking it out so after my track day the cage will be fitted so today me and a mate ripped all the door cards off and tidied up the cable some of my speakers hadn't been working due to the cables getting wet and corroded so got those all working all I have to get now is some straps for door handles in the car to pull the door shut I'm thinking about about a pair of trs tow straps in orange fixed to the door ?

There quite solid tho so can't see why they would flap about every thing else rattles and makes noises lol
None mate thought about carbon ones but what's the point may paint the silver parts matt black and leave it as it is

Should be ok my new seats can be lifted with one finger that's with the side mounts on them the cage is fairly heavy but no where near as much as the front seats

Just ordered some orange webbed material like the tow straps but 19mm wide and a lot cheaper , will make some thing up to hold them
Fitted my bronze tow hook yesterday also got the DA out just to take the wax off few pics , also replaced my wmi hose the one supplied was the wrong one and was to small so it kept popping off , doing a few more bits today

Just new to the forum and haven't had much of a look about but your car is stunning mate, I can't wait to get my hands on a Ibiza Cupra tdi and put my stamp on it
