Sorted my bumper out today took loads of cutting and trimming still have to cut the actual plate holder down and the numberplate it's self but will do that this week ,

I wish I had either your disposable income or your sense of humour with debt :)

Which cage did you go for in the end? What's the score with the N75 too..........

Going for the omp one , but from a 5 door mk4 golf , not having to fill my car up since July has given me extra money :) ,
Got a new n75 as I have never changed it in the 5 years of owning the car and it was running a little crap

Jesus...you haven't held back! That is going to be special when its done.
I don't think I could ever do that to my car tho...wouldn't have the balls!

get ready to dump their pads mate..they are cr@p and will wear your break discs too.

I got the XYZs....same as K sports and D2s...also i think the forge ones look v v similar...the oem XYZ pads were very very bad quality. So hot spots all over the place etc.

I bought a set of DS2500s from the UK...set me back arround 300 euros LOL as if i had a Lamborghini or something

and now the brakes are a lot lot nicer.

Upgraded to the HYZ 330x32 from my 4pot ap seat sport calipers.

Now also the rotors will need replacing at some stage. every 2 sets of pads youll have to replace them.

They are also poor quality ones.

And also very expensive...arround 500-600 euros! lol

Theres a Galfer rotor compatible for these brakes so i will look into that when its time...

ehhehe thats great then buddy.

i was v v dissapointed with those pads as i was already using ds2500s with the 4pots.

You got 6 pot 330x32 as well?

Only thing to keep an eye for is some spare rotors.

i am also not using the car a lot either...especially now that my clutch master fx300 died on me after just 5000kms :(...so till i find some time to fit the clutchNet one....the car will still remain in my parking space (nearly 2 months now).
Big Turbo setup = more problems for you :p

Loe this had looked at getting a set of rota's as a boy was selling them but didnt think they would fit. This is tempting me back to the dark side lol. Cant wait to see the updates and i say just think f*ck it and get the full cc race cage. If your gonna do it big then do it big :)

Noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All this work then DS2500s :(

This car, and those brakes, deserve proper brake pads!
