Speaker sounds really bad after disconnecting

Morning everyone
Hopefully can help so other month I had the seat sound fitted to my cupra 300 now yesterday I removed the doorcard and fitted sound deadening, I disconnected the speaker to get behind it then put it back etc, now I turn my music on and the speaker I disconnected now sounds absolutely shocking, can not put it past volume four it then goes really distorted and tje bass is horrendous sounds like it's blown but It isn't. Obviously when I had the seat sound fitted they had to update the head unit software to adapt for the speakers etc now am wondering with me disconnecting the speaker will it of reset the software to that speaker? But all the others are working fine. Am absolutely baffled with what's happened

The only way to change the software configuration, is via diagnostics. You can rule that problem out

Thanks pal then I really am stuck with why it's doing what it is... only when I disconnected the speaker has it started sounding like this.

So an update on this plugged the car in today at VAG specialist and it came up with "right front bass speaker open circuit" B106213. Does this mean the speaker is finished? The guy said he wasn't sure if it was blown but to me it sounds like it is, low volumes it's fine but above volume four and its horrendous.
I have ordered a new speaker so fingers crossed
