Speed Blue MK1 Leon Cupra R

Hi All,

A couple weeks ago I bought a Mk1 cupra R ,and it seems to be in a rare colour.

I believe It is in the Speed Blue from the MK2 .First guess would be that it was re painted , however a ) everything is painted perfectly in every nook and cranny b) dvla records show no colour change.

Hopefully one of you can explain the situation.

What is the code on the boot sticker?

Is it S5G (Swing Blue / Extreme Blue)?

Think I saw this for sale.
It looks like the colour of the FR mk1.
Suits the colour, Seat should have offered that on the R.

Never seen a mk1 R in that shade of blue, my money is on it having been resprayed at some point. If not then it must be some super rare very late model

Most non-R models were available in Extreme Blue or Imperial Blue. Looks like the former to me.
