Speed Limiter - intermittent fault

Does anyone have the same fault?

When I turn on the ignition, and go to set the speed limiter (assist systems > scroll down to speed limiter > OK), about half of the time I get a !LIM message and the limiter doesn't work.

If I turn the ignition off, and back on again, I can usually set the limiter correctly.

Two separate dealers don't have a clue.

I presume the dealers would have checked that. I don't have any diagnostic equipment myself.
