Right guys,

Recently done the n249/112 bypass and after the car started spluttering! so plugged vag-com in and came up with the fault code:

16684 random multiple missfire
16688 cyl 4 missfire

so presuming it was the ign coil 4, had all coilpacks replaced by the seat dealer, car was then running fine, but today has started spluttering again with same fault codes? also had lambda b1s1 under threshold? the idle also after a while jumps up and down from 800 to 500rpm sometimes? :headhurt:
 
Could be that injector leak again. Prob best to replace all the o-rings and injector seats in the manifold. Have you swapped the coilpack for another on the car just to se if it could be the coil pack thats buggered already?
 
what plugs are you running?

i've got std plugs and they havent lasted very long, prob 7/8k miles and now the car misses intermittently when booted and i doubt its a coil because i rag the **** out of it so it would have failed completely by now

i wanted to flog all the bits before i get rid of the car but cant bring myself to actually remove any of the engine mods, but i will once i've finally decided on the replacement.

Its this recession its making cars i previously couldnt afford into my budget...350z's for under 10grand for example! but the forthcoming tax laws are also affecting my decisions hence the struggle

its the worst time to sell but the best time to buy...lol
 
have you put the non return valve (the black and white plastic thing) back on the correct way after doing the N249 bypass in the vacum line?

Im prettysure if you bypassed the N112 also then you no longer needed the check valve (black and white plastic thing), so this is probably not the problem
