hello everyone i have just signed up today, i was told that its a good place to get ideas for your car so i thought i will give it a go, when i put me foot down me car starts to splutter about 3-4000 rpm and the engine management light flashes a couple of times then goes off, i have change the pluges oil and fuel filters, help please its really annoying

Is there a eggy smell coming from the car if so then. Definitely as above a coil pack has given up.

any way of checkin the coil pack? and any one know the best place for parts

there was an eggy smell, but not all the time, is it an easy repair any one know

dealers, £25. Pull the old one out, put the new one it. Vagcom will tell you which cylinder is it. Or trial and error it in each coilpack position, turning the engine off when you change them over.
