sports button?

hello all, i was wondering if you can have a sports button when u get a stage 1 remap, i have only seen the inside of a lcr a couple of times (buying one in the next week) so this could already have one, the astra vxr comes with "sports mode" when pressed this activates the remap, i thought this was a good function so you dont have to drive around with the remap constantly on, could highten the MPG, is this possible, has anyone got it done?

i cannot wait to drive and own it!!!!!

have you driven a vxr? that sports button only sharpens throttle response a bit.......... i dont even know if it takes the TCS off. its not like once you've pressed it everything becomes a blur. if you want a switchable map then you need a revo remap with one of their sps plug in controllers.

If you want a "kill switch" try the latest BMW M5, the M button on the wheel stands for MURDER. Trust me. Awesome

You could go for an APR remap. With this system you can change the level of remap from you cruise control stalk. If you don't have cruise control you can also get this fitted.

Does the VXR Sport Button actually initiate a remap though? I thought this just sharpened up the throttle response and reduced the traction control / ESP systems a bit?

no i havnt driven 1 but a close friend has one, he puts his foot down in say 4th and its going along (foot is right to the floor) then he presses the sports button and my testicles are in the back seats lmao, it does turn it on and off 100%
but thanks for reply and ill give revo a call, should get my car on sat AFTER i had agreed a fee with some one on this forum!! (relisted due to time wasters) and then once i ask him for his address as i had recieved my loan he said someone came and put a depsoit down 3 days after agreeing to sell it to me!
anyway come sat ill be grining like a mother fu*ker lol, then the RE-MAP
