Sports Cat back Exhaust

I'm looking for a straight through pipe for my car, current exhaust has got a hole in which I found when I was fitting my coilovers.

I've used the search function and not really found what I wanted to know, just want to find out where to go for it making/fitting? (currently in Loughborough, but also live near leeds/Wakefield)

What kind of price I'm looking at etc.....

Also I've seen and read on other forums that you don't need a silencer on the back of the TDi because the turbo blocks alot of the noise? I've seen video's on you-tube of TDi's with no silencer and they don't seem stupidly loud?

Any info would be brill

Only place you'll get straight through is a custom pipe place. Look in your yellow pages/

Well I managed to get one sorted in the end before my MOT, was £150 for a cat-back with no boxes and is 50mm diameter. Went to silver systems in stoke, he is a powerflow registered dealer. It sounds good, deeper than it did before and not too loud and you get a nice bit of turbo whistle

I was going to say I noticed a straight through pipe on ebay for a Golf from a seller called Deutcheparts, thinking of getting one for mine to get rid of my centre box as it just knocks all the time.

If you live in the Leeds are, there's a company called Zorstec in Bradford that do custom exhausts, not that far to drive to for you. Not sure how much it'd cost though, full systems start at £280.
