Sprayed Caps

Well, I decided yesterday to spray my washer bottle and coolant caps before going to work....

Whilst they were drying, I decided to clean the tops of the bottles...

soaked with daisy APC and cleaned with a Swissvax style brush. Leaving this

Not perfect, so same process again but with Surfex HD

Collant bottle not as bad. Only took the daisy APC to get it clean

They will be given a second coating next week

Also spraying my stubby mirror. Will post that once complete.

cheers fella.....

got next week off to give the car a good clean before spring fest.

Tue: wash and wax car and try machin polish to remove a scratch
Wed: clean interior/engine/wheels & arches
Thu: clean interior/engine/wheels & arches
Fri: clean interior/engine/wheels & arches
Sat: clean whole car again and 2nd coat of wax
Sun: Cruise to Spring Fest, stand back, and admire....

gonna arm myself with a few spanners, sockets and screw drivers and remove was much as I can and clean away! remove coolant bottle, strut brace, air filter and whatever else I think of at the time.

Will hopefully also do the N112 at the same time

Right, decided next week to respray the caps with another coat, along with the oil dipstick, and power steering pump cap and the brake fluid one. Also thinking about spraying oil cap red, but not sure if it'll be OTT...

Also, swordjo mentioned on DW to spray the dynatwist enclosure silver. What do people think about that? OTT???? I may have some silver paint left after spraying the stubby mirror? Would it be too "in your face"?

What paint did you use on the caps Mat ???

Are'nt the dynatwist enclosure Alloy ?? you could polish it, it should'nt be too hard
