Got them primed up & think im going for matt black now, anything too bright might not look right, i've got some spare imperial blue so might try that out if i get bored of the black

I'm just trying to work out how to put some markings on the electric mirror switch bit

I think matt black is a good call. I wouldnt worry about the marks for the elec mirrors. You know which way to turn it and even if its somebody new to the car it only takes 2 turns to figure out.

Shantybeater why dont you try those transfers you colour over with a pencil?

Think you can get them in whsmith

only problem would be they scratch off very easily unless they were laquered

no its like tracing paper with letters and numbers on it, you go over the tracing paper and it transers the letter onto something

Search for letraset in google images cus im not explaining it very well lol

I'm buying stuff right now, want to get them prepared... ill be spraying them matt black..

if it looks "crap(the polite word)" Ill be disappointed, they have to be a vast improvement...

I'll just buy some new ones otherwise..:(

dunno if i uploaded pics of mine or not.... will have a scout around for some

I sprayed my drivers side 1s about 5 mins ago lol. matt black and will give a couple coats of clear laquer. cost me £2 summin for the pait and laquer :)

cainer: why spray em mat black and then lacquer them? they'll have a "shine" then. Kinda pointless goin matt black in the 1st place

I just sprayed mine matt black, and no lacquer

slim: as above? lacquer defeats the object of goin "matt black". easy enough to clean with a damp MF

make them easier to clean, also was recomended to.
i might not just waiting for the black paint to dry

don't...
