Got my new wheels coming this week bbs ch copies thinking later on in year to lower car a little. I'm not wanting to go too much as where i live council went mad with speed hump funding there is couple now where splitter rubs them. I'll probably go about 40mm max was saying to my mate about springs he said fella he works with got good deal on coilovers for his Passat. Whats going to be best are coilovers better for more than 40mm drop

All depends what you want from them amd how much your budget is.. if your never wanting to go more than 40mm drop id be inclined to go with springs mate.. Ive got coilovers, but am maxxed out all the way round so thats why i went for them.

I agree with mike, if you're just looking to drop to a set height and stay there you might aswell just grab some springs and keep some cash in your wallet!

Mike how the hell to you fair round norfolk maxed out, ive only dropped mine 45 and I fear speed humps!
