right,

the 6k chassiss is based on a golf or polo??

i have a 6k vario, which is like a polo estate i know, but im sure i read the ibiza chassis is the same as a golf?

im trying to buy springs, but being a cheap skate and wanting to buy some from the same chassis but different car,

it that makes sense??

sorry its in here and not the cordy section but i figured id get more of a response here. ;)

Nope, 6K is based on a 6n (polo) chassis. make sure your springs fit your top mounts also.

nice one cheers for that, but 6n or 6n2?? a si know thay have diffrent top mounts, im pretty sure the 6n2 is like mine with 3 bolts holding the strut top up?

and the 6n just has a nut on top of the shock with a bush, i think... :S

just seams now polo estate springs are not the same as hatch's

based on 6n chassis mate. topmounts arent neccesarily the same.

i bought polo estate springs, fitting them tomoro if i can get to the workshop,

looking at other polo stuff, i think polo 6n2 springs will fit, but 9n if you want coilys, as they have droplinks, seams the 6n2 does not..

nah ididnt, workshop door was frozen so couldnt get in, gonna attempt it again today,

im from the north, launceston ;)

fitted the today, piece of cake, fitted perfect although the back does look a lil lower than the front, but im sure my heavy tdi lump will help em settle,

think its safe to say, you should get some polo 6n2 springs, ive even seen some -50s somewhere, just what you where after ;)
