springs

Probally been asked before but are they hard to do? Havent done them before but i recon it seems pretty straight forward, there any advice or tip etc!?

if your mechnicly minded then they are not to bad if your not then take it to the garage because if you get it wrong its going to hurt big time

I'll second that, once saw a spring compressor fly off the spring and go through a car door

That wouldn't have been a pretty sight if it had been somebody's head

even when i was using spring compressors to do cars ive had them slip but not come off. i saw some one take a shock out and then try and take the top mount off without compressing the spring. he was lucky the top mount and spring missed him

Rears are a doddle, no compressors needed (I think...)
Front's are a bitch - unless you're pretty handy spanner-wise & have the right tools, I wouldn't bother trying.
