Squeaky Clutch Pedal

Since my last VAG service (no doubt purely co-incidental LOL), my clutch pedal has become ridiculously squeaky - lots of clutch-less gear changes are being made!!!

Is this something I should be worried about, as years ago I had a clutch cable break on an MG Maestro?

Your clutch is not cable operated it's hydrolic. I would give the pedal pivot a good dose of WD40 or 3 in1 oil.

Thanks for that. I have just bought an electronic VAG manual, but had not got around to looking-up the clutch system.

Will now get out the can of lithium grease, or WD40.
