Great post. Used this to fix my parcel shelf locking mechanism. For those who can't find the clip. Try behind that carpet liner, that's where I found mine. All sorted and saved me a trip to the dealers

When the catch fell out for the second time on mine , I glued the catch in position. It seems to be a reasonably common thing for the catch to just drop out, and wonder if when this happens, somehow a twisting or otherwise movement damages the side trim in some way that it doesn't hold the catch as securely as it should

Hello everyone found this thread from 2021 had the same problem and indeed when i removed two screws i found the latch inside and fix it.
