ST Owners - ali roof bars at LIDL £25 be quick

I have been thinking about getting roof bars for my ST. There are cheap black ones on ebay for £35 but if you want a pair in silver to match the SE roof rails you are looking at £100.

Amazingly, LIDL have aluminium bars for £25, 3 year guarantee and load limit of 90 kilos - the ebay bars are only 50 or 75 kilos. The packaging actually states suitable for Exeo ST!

I was expecting them to be noisy and there is a slight whistle at 50 mph but they are quiet at 70.

For those of you that don't know how LIDL works, they have special offers twice a week and when thing are sold out that's it - no more stock. The offer started on 6 June so be quick.

Do these only fit the exeo st?
Would grab a set for the leon if they would fit

The fit many cars, but require your car to have the roof rails like the Exeo and Ibiza ST.
So sadly they would not fit your Leon.

Great heads up - picked some up on the way home - also spend £30 or more and get £5 off at our local - so a real result.

I used my bars for the first time yesterday - there is a house being renovated near us and the builders said I could take some pallets for wood to burn on my woodburning stove. Strapped a couple of pallets to the roof and away I went - happy as a sandboy

Has them on and off twice. It was easy, especially the second time. The fit must be perfect, because a mate thought I had bought them from SEAT. They look cool even when left on, however that wouldn't do the mpg much good!

LIDL will be setting the bars again from Monday 17 Oct but the price has gone up to £30

Just acquired a set of these roofbars for £29.99. Locking and come with 2 keys.
