Stage 1 too much boost?

New clutch costs less than £200 from Seremotors, and you would be looking at approx same for labour. Not cheap, but less than half what you are fearing.

I'd want a better clutch that could cope with the extra torque rather than the standard one that seems to be spec'd to cope with the standard torque and not much more.
