Hey guys well yesterday i went to dubsport to have stage 2 installed didn’t take them long to do it said they set it up right for me as i took the logs id done previously, once then done was off on my way only get 100 yards and bang coli pack blew  so trip to the nearest dealer and another £30.

anyway after driving it around fro a bit didn’t feel any quicker they said had turned the timing up but lowered the boost 1 as was over boosting before. so I went out and did a bit of logging these are results i got for of all

noticed straight away timing isn’t even trying now i don’t have a sps so couldn’t adjust it on there but do have leminwinks so decided to change the timing on there did it 1 by 1 and logged each time have only turn it up 2 notches and it felt loads quicker and picked up miles better than before here’s the logs of only cf's now

as you can see no cf's across the bored so now my question is shall i keep turning the timing up on leminwinks until I start seeing cf's or do i leave it as it is.

what’s peoples comments on these logs would like to know what you think.

cheers

What did youhave logs from before? Stage1? in which case they're pretty much meaningless if you now run totally different code.

I would say if you had a TIP you could get away with B9, T6/7 depending on your fuel & the inlet temps you see.

Don't use lemmiwinks

yea they were from stage 1.

yea not got a tip yet is next on list i think. which block would you log in inlet temps then? allways use either v power or tesco 97 anyway.

was told it would do same as a sps for teh timming or is it not a good idea then?

do a Throttle body alignment, and ECU reset now you have stage 2, do some logging, run it for a week, do some more logging - then tweek as required.

I'd use an SPS3, it's supported whereas Lemmiwinks isn't - and you have a wider scope to do something wrong/harmful with it if not careful

okay ill do that later. am i logging the correct blocks to look at then?

dont have a sps3 at the min thats only reason i used lemmiwinks would't touch anything on there apart from the timming one and know how much im putting it up by so can allways put it back again after if dont go right.

Your maf readings are a bit shat above 4500 revs, something could be restricting your top end flow. I doubt a dirty filter etc could cause that and my LC certainly sees some cfs when logging so something is maybe running a little off.

ill give a log on just maf reading later see if its any better seems to be lower now than before when had stage 1.

is WG duty the % sign on the 118 log? should it not be at 100 all the time then i take it?

No 100% means wastegate is shut and the turbo is trying its hardest to meet the requested boost. You should see around 100% to start with then should drop to 70-80% then rise agen towards redline.

Intake temps are in block 118 also. You should be able to run Boost 9 on stage 2 provided you've got all the required mods.

Looks like your turbo working near enough flat out to achieve that boost. Maybe a small boost leak some where.

it does that at the min though or do you mean drop even further than it does at the min?

god know how id find that boost leak then if its only a small one

is fairly easy to spot a leak really, to start with, you just check all the vacuum connections to make sure its all connected correctly, then check over any tatty vac hoses, old standard ones tend to disintegrate

however, it does seem to be meeting requested, so not sure if there is a leak or not
would also say that maf flow is more than adequate for a k03

Shoudl be seeing higher MAF readings fella, but timing looks good...borrow an SPS3 for like a week, and have a play... any idea what the timing is at the mo?

With an SPS2 you can go from 5-7-9 I think depending on fuel program chosen...

iv chanegd all the old vac pipes to silicone ones and never seem to have a problem before if you look at old logs the Wg is totaly diffrent but as mork said they dont matter as was on stage 1 then

maf reading have allways been around that dont know if maf is slightly dodgy or somet.

problem is dont know any 1 with a sps to be able to borrow one.

no idea they said they set it for 97/98 ron fuel

mid 80's are fine. but your also seeing a lot of 100's which means you turbo is working flat out. Im seeing mid 70's near enough all the way to redline but thats with a k03's.

Code:
RPM	Load %	A/F ratio
1040	72.9	15.62
1200	81.2	15.94
1360	85.7	16.68
1560	89.5	15.86
1760	96.2	15.16
1960	111.3	15.26
2240	129.3	14.08
2560	148.1	13.11
2880	172.9	11.95
3280	173.7	11.38
3600	171.4	11.35
3880	171.4	11.22
4200	168.4	11.37
4480	166.9	11.23
4760	162.4	11.45
5000	157.9	11.20
5200	151.1	11.44
6960	114.3	11.26
7000	114.3	14.13

There's your A/F ratio calculated from your MAF readings. Looks like your running rich which also points at a boost leak. Check your dump valve and all your intercooler pipes.
