What are peoples thought on these? I really like the look of a stainless exhaust, but as the exhaust on mine has got plenty of life left in it yet I can't justify spending out for new one until its atleast nearly on it's last legs. So, I've been looking at these exhaust tip trims you can get. I've seen the crappy chrome ones that just rust and perish after a short time, but the genuione stainless ones look quite smart.

Anyone willing to admit they've used or have them now? lol Any recomendations?

Cheers

Ive got a Miltek exhaust system and the use add on tail pipe trims so i say go for it. They are bolted on by a clamp so when they look shitty like my 4yrs old 1s do than buy some shinny new ones :D

Cheers Andrew - £22 quid for stainless tips is blooming good, considering their obviously OEM part too! Just looking at the TPS website now, cant find them online so will have to give them a bell tomorrow.

OK, pretty p'd off now - so i went into Skoda and bought some Skoda Yeti stainless exhaust trims for my car as I thought they would fit my twin pipe as they do fit the Golf. Went to put them on this afternoon and they are too big for my pipes! Has anyone else got these fitted as the Golf bys have?

What is the diameter of the twin pipes on your cars? Im now wondering if mien has had a pattern part exhaust fitted and the tips are slightly smallere then standard. The tips on mine at the moment are 55mm

Part number of the tips I bought 5LO 071 910

Cheers,
Dan
