What tyres and wheels bill?

17x8 - race tyres 225-45-17 (tall mofo's i dont like but have to tolerate for now)

previously 235-40-17 SO3's lower ride height by nature of profile difference

phat wings help.. wishbones level ;) however, which is an important aspect

{edit-625 on the tall tyres, previous dimension is my 16" wet wheels/tyres 215-40-16}

Well m asured mine 570 on the rear and 580 on the front

no weather for a picture so will upload one after.

Standard super T's with 45 profile tyre bit high but helps me clear the speedbumps.

A firm 580mm on rear and 585mm on front.

16" wheels with 195/45/16 profile tyres.

I will check mine tonight if i remember, still standard after nearly 3 n half years. Next mod suspension for sure, was power mad till now.

yep standard wheels. i was hoping to go for a 40mm drop with standard wheels and 20mm spacers on the rear, wasnt sure if that would cause any probs with rubbing arches or anything?

you shouldnt have any problems with that.

ive got 20mm on the rear of mine on AP coilovers sitting nice and low got no problems any more than 20mm and you will need to do a bit of arch rolling though.

Will measure mine when I get a chance. 40mm suspension kit but rears have adjustable base plates so I
have adjusted them a few times........

I'm missing those stickers now.... D'oh

620mm for me, well apart from o/s/r was 615mm?? was on my drive so not entirely level. Standard suspension, standard wheels, 45profile tyres. Does this sound right? Was in the dark so maybe check it again later.

So 620 is standard on 16" wheels, tyres and suspension?

Does anyone have 17" wheels on standard suspension?

I'll update the first post with info and pics then. :D

Going by the post above it sounds as though 620mm *might* be the standard ride height on standard 16" wheels, in which case mine would be a 40mm drop all round

Sooo...

if 620 is standard height on 16" wheels with 195-45-16 tyres then standard height would be 620 + 15mm on 205-40-17 so 635mm and 215-40-17 is 620+23mm so 643mm - i done the calculations using... http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Which makes my drop 25mm on the rear and 33 front? Interesting.
