right what do we recon people for a AUQ engine , Megasquirt or DTA

i dont have the biggest mechanical knowlegde but i know my car is a cable accelerator at the moment and i dont know how the company are going to wire in the 1.8's wiring loom into mine wether there just going to cut the wires at they come throught the bulkhead and splice in 1.8's loom into the engine bay alone . im not to sure if the engine from the octavia is going to be a fly by wire or fly by cable so .... all i know is that i am going to need a new ECU so i can retain all the cars original features so ... any help would be opreciated

cool so ill be needing to drop the pedal box out of the octy as well then

stock bosch ecu is what jbs used on mrsB 1.8T lupo conversion

cheers for that bill , ive emailed the company doing the conversion for me to see if they can do that as well so hopefully that would save me a good few hundred quid for a while then once im over 23 i can fire a megasquirt on it and wack the power up
