Ive been out for a bit in the car tonight logging boost pressure with VCDS. Car seems to feel quicker and then slower some days. Tonight, id say it feels on the slower side.

Looking at the logs, 'Requested Boost' v 'actual boost', the car seems to be delivering what the ecu is asking of it, although in points the actual values seem to take a bit to catch the requested values, but i put that down to a bit of lag.

Anyhoo, it meets the peak boost request around 2800-3000 rpm and hits 1900mbar which is around 13psi (just under 1 bar) and then tails off to around 9psi until 4000rpm where it builds upto 12psi again until the red line. Now these are the requested values as well, s its obviously not a leak.

Do these boost levels sound correct for a standard car? if they are on the low side, the ecu is obviously pulling the boost back and i need to look further.

so its pretty much on the money. Think 1 bar is 14 psi. Like i say its logging missfires on cylinder 2, got plugs and coils on the way. Cheers for the replies.

i have 1.7. they tell me i have had something changed on the map to do with the accelerator pedal, not sure really what they are on about.
every day im told 1.7 is too high. 20,000kms no problems but did change out the pcv as was consuming some oil, now all is well. truth be told drive like an old fart 99% of the time. 1% of time glad its 1.7 bar:)

Sorry to jump on this but I have a 2.0 tdi ref sport which is standard. When I tried the torque app recently it showed a max of 22 psi on a dual carriageway run

I done some logs of mine before and after remap. Before it would get about 1.0-1.1 bar and now it's stage 1 it boosts max of 2.0 bar.

Car is a Leon Cupra K04
