hi peeps quick question!

with the mounting fuel prices and servicing costs my 03 lcr has got to the stage (60,000 miles) do i get it serviced at the dealer or some were else and if it would effect the selling price when she got to be sold.

by the way mounting fuel and servicing costs came from the wife....(nagging sell the car get a diesel family car)as i travel to wrk 70miles a day doh!

nationwide auto centre next door to wrk know the guys well they told me 60,000 man/ service is oil change cabin filter and the rest is just checking.

so i will leave it in the forum hands and see wat reaction i get...lol:clap:

I had my LCR done at the nationwide autocentre on monday, down pontypridd in wales, as i phoned the dealers and asked for a quote on how much a service and cambelt change was and they said over £600, so i phoned nationwide and it was only £428, and if you book online you get £15 off! No complaints from them, as the car is still running great and they kept me informed on what they were doing! :)

To be honest, i dont really know to much about that, as i only had my car for around a month! but in my book i have got stamps from kwik fit, 3 from the dealer etc. in my honest opinion, as long as it has the stamp, and the car is looked after, and you change your oil etc when it should, then i cant see how its going to affect it as much as if you had the dealer stamps...but thats me  lol
