Steering Lock Problem

Im after a little assistance. The steering Lock on my LCR is siezed on. I am able to turn the key occasionally and this applies power to the stereo but i am not an ignition functions or releasing the steering wheel.

Is there anything I should know or do on how to release the steering lock? Or is there any known problems with them on the LCR

Any help would be great.

I take it you've tried wiggling the steering wheel while turning the key?

Yeah ive tried that. It usually comes off straight away when doing this. Except today of course.
