Stereo Display

I have owned my cupra for about 4 months now and could not be happier. Since not driving it for a couple of weeks i turned the engine on and the stereo display says "safe". Can anybody shed any light on what this means?

It needs the code inputting.
Should be in your handbook, if not a trip to the dealers is needed.

Just need to put the code in, maybe battery got a bit low!

Thought that might be the case but havent had any time to read ther manual etc. Its been sat dormant for 2 weeks due to work so cant wait to get back out soon. Cheers for the replies guys

whatever you do, DONT keep pressing buttons. it will NOT work like that. And make sure you get the code right the first time. You dont wanna be spending £27 at the stealers for a new code (like i did )
