Stereo fitting Question

i bought a Sony headunit recently. Which one of the Car's plugs is the power, and which is the speakers? there is a red plug and a black plug. Just paranoid incase i put the wrong one into the sony adapter!

you cant put the wrong one in just try it

yeah the plastic plugs are physically different, you can only plug the right one into the right space

You remember as a child there was a plastic toy where you push the different shape blocks through the holes... Circle... Star... Square... Rectangle.. And only the correct shape block would obviously fit into the hole?? ........I take you never got one of these. lol!

lol yeah thats why they have ISO standards, i was initally concerned about this and marked everything before hand
