stereo problem

im experiencing problems wih the stereo, the battery went flat due to my brake light problems (please see other thread) and now the missus used it and tried to put the code into the stereo as it obviously reset when the battery went.

its coming up with a message safe with the number 2

now ive tried to do as it says it the manual by holding the prog but down til you hear the confirmation beep but nothing is happening

any advice

did you try page 2?
You need to leave the stereo on and car locked for about an hour then

ok so just leave it there for an hour. i couldnt find this in the book

yeah leave it turned on lock the car go away for an hour then try again.
