I've got the standard Aura Stereo however the previous owner misplaced the housing cage. Although it is connected, its losely fitted. Any ideas where i can get the part from?

Secondly, i have to re-enter the code everytime I start the car. Now thats really getting annoying.

There is the option of upgrading your stereo which will sort both problems.

You can pick up a decent stereo that sounds 10X better than the aura unit on ebay for under £100.

If that doesnt interest you, you can try SEAT direct for it:)

Thanks, i agree. I am looking into a bluetooth stereo with a sd card reader. however in the mean time getting the cage sorted will be cool if its cheap.

i've got a rubber tube, not too sure what it is and what it does with the wiring. Can i assume the radio is suppose to clip in from the sides?

Justed sorted it (kind of). Placed a couple of match sticks in the bottom and pushed them in so you cant see them. Does the trick and it doesnt look too bad. That sorted, i now need to figure out how to sort out why i need to type in the security code everytime i start up the car.

You have a power fault on the perminent live connection which is why your having to put the code in everytime. The stereo is losing its memory.
If theres been an aftermarket stereo fitted into the car at one time. The previous owner may have altered the wiring instead of buying a harness adaptor.

try switching the perm live and ignition live might work i just fitted a dvd player (after market ) and had to switch the wires might work but not promising .....

sorted, there was an extra ISO adaptor that i believe was used to connect to a alpine HU. By removing it, i connected the wiring loom ISO connectors directing into the HU which resolved the problem straight away. Thanks for everyones help
