sorry for the bunch of post i have a billion question i need to answered lol

first off. why does the FR come with an mp3 player but the cupra being the top range not... really pissed me off when i went to collect my car... and seeing as i have a pc in my other car music was never a problem untill now....

so i am in need of away to get loads of music in to the cupra... only thing i can think off is Ipod with an fm transmitter but i hate ipod i have had 3 and they all broke

any ideas??

A after market H.U can be taken out with seconds....!?

Besides, just use the extra din slot for it, and get a H.U that u can take the facia off, then say it comes like that as a "blank" plate incase u wanna install something there

If you want something like that, have a look at the new Archos series, many a GB worth of space, and a screen... the new ones (unlike mine grrr!) have wi-fi

Depends, are you going to need the extra outputs etc your after market H.U has?

Both have their plus and minus

OEM H.U

+ Can you steering wheel controls

- Doesnt give much option for subs, extra I.C.E

After market

+ Lots of extras, generally better sound (not really noticable unless spending ££ on components etc)

- Yet to find one with steering wheel controls, so u lose them

Thanks for that. I'm not too bothered about the extras. ICE isn't that important to me - as long as it plays CDs, has a radio and MP3 I'm not too fussed. Plus I've missed my steering wheel controls these past 2 years!

Id say stick with the std h.u then, the oem install isnt bad as long as you dont wanna go round pimpin' with ya bad boy rap on trying to impress the locals!
