I updated my steering wheel for Travel Assist. The Start Engine button on the steering wheel works, but the Drive mode button does not. The button has no special physical wiring. It works over the Lin line.

I couldn't find any code.
Could you help

If I look for spares for a car that has this original steering wheel, I'll find it.

Hope you could find the solution. Would you mind share with me where to get the buttons of logo/start engine please? Cause I’m thinking going after that steering but maybe get the version without the buttons so if there’s a way of later adding them it would be nice n’ perfect for my project idea

Any update on Drive mode button? Also have you repurposed start/stop button to ESP?

As far as I know, the driving profile button is, as already mentioned, a LIN participant. It is dependent on the control unit 19 and the data set. So if the button was not in the steering wheel at the factory, the data set for the control unit 19 is required.

I don't know why are you asking about them but I can just guess that you want to fit this trim to your current steering wheel. Just to let you know that you cannot just do that and you have to buy steering wheel with them. The rear side of steering wheel in molded so those buttons fits there as seen in picture
