Hi all

What are your opinions on vinyl stickers on outside of car?

I've seen these on eBay and just thought could be nice but then could be tacky???

Yeah at the bottom on each side of car. Get the fr ones
There's many different designs
I just don't want to regret it

For that price give it a go, if you get them on an don't like them, heat them slightly and will be easy to take off, long as they haven't been on too long. Think I saw somewhere your car is grey, are you thinking black or white?

Seen a few cars with these side decals, not my thing personally but if you like them then that's all that matters really.

Absolute worst case, you get them and don't like them, peel them off :)

Did u stick it on yourself? Hard work?
I worry I won't get it level

straight forward. I measured where i wanted the bottom of the stripe to sit then stuck small pieces of masking tape all along the door. (i started mine with the top level with the mudflaps). The stick the stripe level with masking tape at the top. Start at the front and peel enough back so you can initially start on the edge of the drivers door working forward. Then work backwards. If you start sticking from either wheel arch, it will be harder to keep it straight as the wings arent even with the doors, if that makes sense. I made this mistake on the drivers side (the first one i did) and it ran out by 6-7mm by the time i got to the back. Passenger side is perfect.

Measure for instance 85mm from bottom of door and mark with some masking tape every 30cm or so. Then you can place the decal along this line and know its straight. Then stick it temporary with masking tape at the top from front to back. Then start at one end peeling the backing off and work your way along.

Probably one the best cars ive had to be honest. Not as tuneable as the cupra but very good cars. paid £9.5k for mine. had it 2.5 years and put 42k miles on it, the sold it for £9k. They hold their price well.

If it's the LED strip I think you are talking about I'm not a fan, I think it cheapens the look of the car.

Have a look on the HIDS direct website, I'm sure they do white look bulbs that are direct replacements for what you have in now.
