Sticking Door Mirror

Just noticed that my near side door mirror is not folding in properly. I've done a quick search although cannot find if anyone has had a similar problem. The only thing I could find was posts regarding creaking door mirrors.

Yes I had it where it would stick - I had to fold it out again and then back in.

Took it to the dealers and they replaced the motor or something - works fine now anyway!

Mine doesnt exactly stick but i have noticed that the right one folds in slower than the left, they both also creak badly any ideas?

I had the same problem about 6 months ago, they fitted a new motor.

Thanks for your replies. It's more of an intermittent fault now and it doesn't happen all of the time.

On one occasion I had to nearly force the passenger side one to get it retracted and I was very afraid incase I bust the motor or cogs.

My drivers side works perfectly although very noisy!!

I'll take it to the dealers in the New Year if it remains intermittent.

Mine passenger side one is faster than my drivers one, less than 2 months old, will it survive ha?

My passenger mirror sticks in occasionally have to close and re-open to get it out. Quite annoying when you've set off then notice. You have to stop to do it! Just another bloody Seat problem!!!!!
