Either my pedal is sticking or the throttle sensor is gone... When I pull up to traffic lights the car is usually over revving. When I pull the pedal towards me with my foot the revs drop back to normal. Whats the remedy for this?

i have been getting this for the last couple of months too just havent got round to seeing if some white spray grease will cure it im pretty sure it will though as lifting my pedal with my foot stops it straight away.

This must be a common problem coz I have it too, I reckon the sensor l need replacing to guarantee it doesn't carry on

Mine does this sometimes. A quick blip of the throttle and releasing quickly or lifting the pedal with my foot cures it, so I don't worry about it!

I've got the same, except it seems to be getting worse! Might get it changed soon.

Yea I need to get it sorted out! Does my head in having to adjust the pedal constantly in around town!

Need to get it greased up tomorrow morning and see how long it lasts! Cheers

I tried wd40 a few days ago. It worked great for 2 days then it started sticking again. Im guessing taking it out, cleaning and greasing it could be the solution!
