Sticky door handle

Alrighty, the outer passenger door handle on my missus Ibiza occasionaly sticks out when opening the door, preventing the door from shutting properly if not noticed.
Its still under warranty, so could just take it to the garage, but if its as simple as spraying some WD into the handle or something it saves a trip.

Id probably use a light emulsifying oil..they type that dries white..
Its just dry, not worth a trip to the dealers unless its 5 mins away.
Just my 2p worth.

+1, I had the same on the boc and just sprayed some penetrating lubricant into the handle and it was fine after that.

Mines just started doing it, driver side perfect? even trying to make it stick it doesnt, but passenger side is more inclined to. werid. Will give the lube a go JC

Had this fault too on both front doors. Silicone spray lube squirted into the handle from outside and all fixed!

i did the same on my ibiza and the gf's polo, jobs a good'un

to add my 10p worth got 5 door ibiza and they all do it tho drivers side not as much ill take advise from above. Is wd40 ok or bad?

My wife has a Nissan Micra and that was suffering with sticky door handles, used WD40 on that and it worked a treat. Bonus is it smells great but I know some people would agrue about that.....

Some silicon base spray will do! i had the same problem and i solve with silicone spray!

you can lube the handles for a temp fix but this is a recognised problem,there is technical info on it,there is a modification that can be made(remove the handle and shave a small amount of plastic from part of the handle).if one sticks they can all be modified under warranty F.O.C....
