I can't agree more if you want to drift seriously you need a mega bhp boosted car. For me the mx5 is awsome handling car and theirs no way you could push Cupra like you would a 5. it's serious on rails with the right tyres.
Guys do drift 5s but they are boosted to the hills and set up right welded diffs ect.

What bikes you into? I'm not a big fan of drifting, just of fast smooth driving nice to have power thru the rear to adjust your line mid corner if necessary
