Just pulled up outside work and I got a loud beep and a message on MFD saying "STOP! Brake Fluid. Check Manual" or something like that. I don't have manual with me so could someone check if it's just a case of topping up fluid?

It's only 9months old and done 13k miles so wouldn't expect it to need a brake fluid service yet!? Brakes work and feel fine.

havent read my manual but i assume it will mean top up your brake fluid, have a look to see if it is low. It cant be a brake fluid change as its recommended you change it every 2 years

check the status of your pads when they are almost finished the piston is pushed to the disc that it will drain a lot of the brake fluid it happened to me when i did a sharp turn.

next day checked the pads and they were almost dead replaced with hawk hps and when we installed the new pads all the fluid came to the reservoir again
