Stop/start status message

Sorry if this has already been asked... but is there any way to disable the Stop/Start status messages that pop up on the infotainment display? They are very obtrusive and I can't see anything in the menus to turn them off. I don't remember these in my pre-facelift car so either it didn't have them or they were already disabled.

Yeah, very annoying. I assume the only way to stop it popping up would be to deactivate the S/S altogether?

There must be some settings in 5F module which can be enabled/disabled by OBDEleven/VCDS.
I will try and look into it. Please share if anyone already knows?

My facelift FR doesn’t have these messages come up which I’ve always found odd. Considering the Leon/Ibiza courtesy cars I’ve had have always had them enabled.

I would actually like to enable them as half the time I don’t know why it has/hasn’t stopped the engine.

You can disable the messages in the vehicle menu. You have to go to the Stop Start screen and it's somewhere there. I'll have a look later while driving home.
