I have an 05 plate FR 130. It's got a Custom Code Phase 1 and uprated Sachs clutch. It's been running absolutely fine (albeit the clutch has been heavy) since I got the remap and clutch at the start of October and I have done a couple of thousand miles since then.

However, last thursday on the way to work something strange started happening. It's really hard to explain but when I bring the clutch up to engage a gear the car jolts. Its as if the clutch engages, then disengages and then engages again. So the car nose dives for a split second as i'm bringing the clutch up at the top of its travel.

Like I said its really hard to explain and happens in all gears i think but is really noticeable in 2nd. It doesn't happen if i do a slow change and doesn't matter if it's normal driving or givin it some beans!

It's still fine to drive apart from being really annoying and making me look like i've got the clutch control of someone with a wooden leg :p!

Any help please?

it's not just changing gear really quickly or not taking your foot off accelerator?

try change gear like this... take foot on accelerator, dip clutch, change gear, bring clutch up and take foot off it completely, put foot on accelerator and go =]

and tell me what happens
since it's a diesel and turbo it has alotta torque low down and can cause this juddering when changing gear

hopefully it won't happen when you change gear like I said and therefore it's just your driving style =]

don't worry lol I do it all time coz I'm too eager on the acceleration! :D
