Hi I am new to this so apologies if this post is in the wrong place!

I am at a complete loss as to what is happening with my car (leon 1.8 20VT). It has a multitude of mind boggling problems!
1.) all 4 windows keep going down in the middle of the night.
2.) break lights keep going faulty ... They stop working but bulbs aren't blown, when replaced with new ones they are fine for a while. When one bulb goes the os side light comes on wen breaking!
3.) battery keeps going flat but I've been assured alternator is fine and it has a new battery now, still goes flat!

:wtf:

Any help on any of these problems would be appreciated! TIA

Regulator in drivers door is dry will check the others though. Central locking was an other issue I forgot to put ... No it doesn't work, I don't have a fob key for the car but even when I put the standard key in the door to lock it it doesn't lock! So between that and the windows it's practically asking to be robbed at the moment!

Theres a really good guide on a new flip remote key on here :) I did it last week and for just over £40 ive got a new remote key

I had a faulty CCM before which was causing problems with my electronics. Im not sure if it controls the windows or not? someone on here should know

I will have a look at the flip key thread, i need to sort the locking asap. I've heard something about ccm module before, are they expensive to replace? Thanks for your reply :)

The CCM controls

Door Locks,
Deadlocks on the door,
Alarm,
Electric Windows
Electric Mirrors (Folding / Adjustment)

They're not hugely expensive to replace although you do need to make sure you buy the exact one for your car

They're not complicated to get to, A few Torx bits and remove the lower part of the dash so you can see the part number,

Replace for the EXACT one as you can get a few different variants

I believe the common ones are 1C0 959 799F for the Leon's but you can get different variants so check first
Once you've bought it then you'll need to get it programmed to your car via VAG COM

Perhaps pop a thread up asking someone local if they can do it for you as and when

My car had an issue with the central locking / alarm / hazards but since I've replaced the CCM it's sorted one problem but not the others

I'd be checking the window regulators first though as per this thread

Thanks Ryan6926 :) Window regulators seem fine. once we had a good look at the inside if the door panel on drivers side we discovered the locking mechanism has had it so will try replacing that 1st as they are cheap lol. If not, i will be on the hunt for a ccm.
