Strange rev problem..!!

Right was bored in some traffic today so started playing with my car revs.

Noticed when i give the throttle a quick jab the needle and revs drop for a split second before rising only very slight but noticable...

Also on my drive home i was on overrun in 3rd from about 40mph noticed not everytime but, if i depress the throttle very slightly i get only what can be described as a pop/cough from the exhaust.
Doesnt sound like a normal exhaust pop more airy like a release of back pressure if that makes any sense..??

Car drives and boosts ok no eml's im quite sure my maf is a little on the way out though...

I was thinking it could be maf related or maybe coilpack or possible tb out of sync

anyone else got any views on this..???

as reuvers said. its probably nothing, but if it worries you, then find someone with vag-com and see if it brings up any codes

Thats about what i was expecting just thought id see what you all think first...

Just doesnt seem quite right think i may just unplug the maf for a bit see if theres any change...

may be that when you slightly depressed the throttle it let a lil more fuel or ait in which got unburnt and exploded in the exhaust

hhmm yea i spose thats possible maybe if its still on the down stroke-exhaust stroke...

Im going to try and give my maf a clean in the next few days anyway so will se if this makes any difference...
